Is there a ticket office?
Yes, our ticket office opens each day at the start of the exhibition and closes one hour before the end of the exhibition. The ticket office is located directly in the exhibition foyer.
In what languages is the exhibition presented?
The entire exhibition is in two languages, German and English.
How long does a visit to the exhibition last?
We recommend that you plan at least 90 minutes for your visit to Magic City.
Is it permitted to take photos or film during the visit?
You may take photos and videos at Magic City for private purposes. Feel free to use the hashtag #MagicCityLife when sharing in social networks. Press photos and all other recordings for commercial purposes are forbidden unless they have been approved in advance by our press department.
Is there an exhibition shop?
Yes. The shop in the exhibition offers a large selection of items related to the theme of Street Art & Urban Art, including items from a number of the exhibiting artists.
Can I also purchase the shop items online?
No, unfortunately our shop items cannot be ordered online and can only be purchased at the exhibition.
Can I visit the exhibition in a wheelchair? Can I park my baby carriage or take it into the exhibition?
Yes, please inform our staff at the exhibition. Baby carriages are permitted in the exhibition. The entire exhibition is on the ground floor.
Can I bring my dog with me?
No, dogs and other pets are not permitted in the exhibition. Assistance dogs such as guide dogs for the blind are permitted.
Can I take my rucksack with me?
You can take rucksacks and bags into the exhibition. However, there is also an area with lockers which can be used in return for a deposit. Please understand that we will be conducting random checks at the entrance.
Can I take food and drink with me?
The consumption of food and the carrying of soft drinks is not permitted outside the Magic Café and the cinema area. Water in closable bottles is allowed.

Is there an audio guide?
On admission we provide free multimedia city guides with interesting information on every work of art.
Who is the exhibition designed for?
Every visitor can discover something interesting in this exhibition. Children and grandparents, Street Art fans and the inquisitive. Magic City is an experience for the whole family, as an amazing spectacle but also as an opportunity to participate.
Is the exhibition also suitable for small children?
Magic City has been designed for all age groups.
Can I also get active at Magic City?
Yes, visit our MAGIC Lab in the exhibition foyer on Saturdays. Experienced graffiti and Street Art artists give workshops and provide you with assistance in designing and realising your own styles. The MAGIC Lab is open every Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and several times in the week during school holidays. The workshops are organised in cooperation with the “Die Färberei”, a municipal facility under the patronage of the District Youth Association.
Should I buy the tickets in advance?
Tickets are available from the ticket office at the small Olympic Hall, at all advance ticket outlets, and online.
Is there a limit to how long I can spend at the exhibition?
No. There is a lot to see … Take your time!
